Without Thought

Surging with energy and aggression, Guildford based rock/punk band Without Thought mix unpretentious, sincere emotion with moments of pure and perfect fury. Unrestricted by genre or image, they strive to show that heavy music can be sensitive and soulful whilst at the same time they show that “emo” does not have to be sung by some bunch of pussys whining about girls.

Without Thought - unlike so many of their peers - are not just about teenage angst, there are levels of darkness to Without Thought, injecting a much needed boost of venom and hatred into emotional rock music. Sometimes uplifting and positive, sometimes dark and claustrophobic and sometimes effortlessly slipping between the two, their sound is hard to pinpoint with influences ranging from the touching melodies of Jimmy Eat World and Samiam to the full on energy of acts such as Strung Out and even right through to the full on brutality and intensity of bands like Give up The Ghost and Vision Of Disorder.

The band gig regularly and have earned an ever-growing and loyal fan base with much interest from major and indie labels as well as national distribution companies.

Without Thought's hobbies include playing music and drinking Whiskey in their eyes. Three members of Without Thought suffer from permanent eye conditions but doctors say that there is still no solid evidence to suggest this is in any way whiskey related.

Their debut single 'Grey Matter' was released by IRL in April.
